Some of our favorite work is at the lake. Lake lots slope toward the water, drain toward the water, and are where people actually want to spend their evenings, so the patio, the walls, the steps and the drainage all have to be planned together.
We have built stamped concrete patios with fieldstone chimneys, paver patios with fire pits facing the boathouse, flagstone walks down to the dock, and walls that turn a steep bank into usable yard.

Things we plan for on lake lots
Building on a slope
Most lake yards need a wall or two before there is anywhere flat to put a patio. We build the walls and steps first, with drainage behind them, so the patio sits on stable ground.
Water heading to the lake
Runoff from the roof and yard heads straight for the shoreline. Burying downspouts and slowing water with rock keeps soil on your lot and out of the lake.
Shoreline rules
Both lakes are Georgia Power lakes, and work close to the shoreline can need their approval. We will tell you at the site visit if your project is close enough to need it.
